Jewelry
A couple of years ago, I began crocheting with seed beads and crochet thread, and then I saw an article about wire crochet, so of course, I had to try it...and put my own spin on it. Most artists who work in wire crochet do it as an open, free-form type stitch. I, on the other hand, use as fine a wire and hook as I can (without it breaking), and then use pliers to crimp the wire, usually into a thin chain or band. I also "play" with polymer and silver clay, and basic beading techniques to create some fun dangles. My most recent jewelry pursuits involve magnetic dangling earrings for those without pierced ears.
