Illustration

Long ago, I started creating scientific illustrations to help supplement my income and as a way to better learn how to use vector graphics. I've used a number of applications over the years, originally designing 8-color graphics on a grayscale Mac Plus and outputting to slides, and these days relying on both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to help meet my clients' needs as a Technical Communicator in my other life.

Illustrations have included marketing graphics, logo designs, process diagrams, biochemical pathways, greeting card designs, and other goodies. My favorite part is creating an elegant, uncluttered design, even if the original request is rife with complicated elements.
